Playing Around with Wikis

I visited the http://oulibrarieslearn.pbwiki.com/wiki and added to the lists of favorites: blogs, books, videos, and a library photo. I don't have time to play around in the "sandbox" now since I have work to do. I will play around with this at home at a later time.

Discovery Exercise:1. Read the Del.icio.us help and introduction pages to get a good overview of its features.
2. Take a look around Del.icio.us using a Del.icio.us account created for the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklinburg County. Note: In this account you will find lots of resources that have been highlighted or used throughout the course of the Learning 2.0 program.

Rollyo

I thought the Rollyo site was very interesting even though I could not click into some sites. I did check out many sites listed to find feeds, but ended up using ones that I am familiar with.

Discovery Exercise: RSS /Bloglines Tutorial/Newsfeeds

I found this exercise to be very interesting. I learned how to subscribe to news sites and other interesting sites. I learned how to place important information in one location so that it can be reviewed quickly. I had a lot of fun with this exercise.
