TECHNOLOGY

I think technology is wonderful. I am amazed with the Ohio University Libraries Learning 2.0 project and how much I have learned so far. This is definitely a computer challenge for me.

I always challenge myself to raise something new every year in my flower garden. This is one of my favorite pictures of my sunflowers and a view of my daughter's car.

Discovery Exercise: Create a blog post about one that intrigues you.

The one that intrigues me is FD Toys at www.portraitprofessional.com.
It was amazing to see an original photo image and then see the image after the enhancement with portrait professional. This is definitely something I want to try with some of my photo's at a later time.

Habit 2: Accept responsibility for your own learning
Habit 3: View problems as challenges
Habit 4: Have confidence in yourself as a competent, effective learner
Habit 5: Create your own learning toolbox
Habit 6: Use technology to your advantage
Habit 7: Teach/mentor others
Habit 7 ½: Play

The easiest was Habit 1: Begin with the end in mind. I am looking forward to recieving the new MP3 player at the end.

Hardest will be Habit 4: Have confidence in yourself as a competent, effective learner. What a fun way to challenge myself to learn new technology.
